The Advantages of Having Your own Website in Internet Marketing Part II by Sean R Mize
Oct 5th, 2011 by

You can purchase autoresponders separately, but they are of limited use if you have no website. An autoresponder automates your web based business so that orders can be taken, thank you emails sent out, the customer invoiced, payments accepted and processed, receipts issued and the product delivered all without human intervention. You can go on vacation and return to count the income you accrued while away sunning it. You can’t do that without a website.

A good web host will provide you with email addresses that are the same as your website. If you are marketing dog baskets, you could have an email address “me@dog-baskets.com” that corresponds with your website address. That looks a lot more professional than a normal email address. Don’t click on that address since I just made it up!

If you want be involved in affiliate marketing it is virtually essential to have a website to be truly successful since you cannot run an affiliate marketing site using only emails. There are programs that provide you with a free website, but there is little that you can do with it other than sell the products that the program allows you to. A private website will allow you a much wider range of products, and allow you to present your products in the way that you want to.

It is individuality that breeds success on the internet, and the more different you can be the better. One of the main advantages of a website is the individuality that you can display in your own web page design, and in the products that you are offering for sale.

These are the main advantages of having your own website in internet marketing. There are many more, but its such a no-brainier that it’s not worth listing any more.

By the way, do you want to learn more about using articles like this to drive traffic to your website and increase online conversions?

If so, I suggest you check this out: article marketing traffic.

Make Your Own Website for Free and Earn Easy Money by Anthony Joseph
Oct 4th, 2011 by

The easiest way to make your own website for free is to start your very own web-log, usually referred to as a blog. Blog websites typically consist of journal-style entries, thoughts, ideas, personal commentary, reviews, or any topic the author chooses to write about. Several blogging services are available to anyone who would like to begin blogging, but I suggest the one service where you can submit all of your entries, post images, and make a few bucks too. As if that’s not enough, it’s completely free: http://www.Blogger.com

Why Use Blogger.com?

Blogger.com is extremely easy to use. You don’t need to know anything about building a website, programming, or coding. The Blogger website is very easy to navigate and will walk you through the entire process–even a child can do it.

When you sign up for your own free blog website with Blogger.com, you have the option to include Google Ads on your website, a program called AdSense. Then, when readers visit your site, some may click on the AdSense ads, and you’ll get paid for every click. It’s free to set up, and you can start making money online today. Keep in mind, though, that there are rules you need to follow when using AdSense Ads on your blog. I suggest you read the following help document: http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?answer=42281.

To recap: The fastest way to make your own website for free is to create a blog at http://www.Blogger.com. In addition to being the fastest, it is also the easiest because you don’t need to know any HTML code or programming, you just need to know how to type and be able to follow simple instructions.

Content for Your Own Blog Website

The only drawback to using a blog is adding content. Many beginners struggle with writing simple blog entries and end up spending too much time writing, editing, and rewriting content. Some Internet marketers copy articles from other websites, but that technique isn’t great either because finding the perfect articles related to your website may take hours or even days.

For more information, I recommend Building a Blog Empire for Profit to learn proven tips to make money with your free blog. This ebook contains advanced tips on selecting the best type of blog based on your interests and tells you how to build traffic. It also offers effective money-making strategies.

Make More Money with Affiliate Marketing

So, blogs are a great way to make your own website for free, and Google Ads are a good way to make money with your blog. But there is an even better way to get started that is also free. It’s called affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing essentially pays you a finder’s-fee to bring new clients to a business. So you might get paid a certain amount for each visit (“pay per click”), for each person who registers (“pay per lead”), or for each customer or sale (“pay per sale”).

Amazon.com is a good example. Anyone with a website can join Amazon.com’s affiliate program. When you join, Amazon will provide you with links, containing your unique affiliate ID, to products on the Amazon.com website. You can then use these links on your blog. When the readers of your blog click the link and make a purchase at Amazon.com, you get paid a commission on the sale. It’s that simple.

There are thousands of merchants like Amazon.com that want you to help them make sales and they will pay you to do so. Gigantic companies like eBay, Apple iTunes, and Walmart all offer affiliate programs that you can join for free.

To get the most bang for your buck, ClickBank is one affiliate network you should partner with. ClickBank manages affiliate programs for more than 10,000 products, and you can earn between 1% and 75% on each sale. Even if you promote 50 products from ClickBank, you only need to visit one website to track all of your sales and profits. Also, you will only receive one check from ClickBank, versus 50 individual checks from multiple affiliate programs, which makes for easier bookkeeping.

Make Your Own Website for Free: Software

Another way to make a free website is to use software that will do the work for you. These programs create everything you need with just a few clicks–the content, the pages, the code, and programming to make your own website for free.

There are a few software packages that will build an entire website based on a topic you choose. Some are much more expensive than others. I decided to try HyperVRE because it’s free. Other software packages I reviewed, such as Adsense-Realestate.com, cost as much as $397 and charge an additional monthly membership fee.

How Does HyperVRE Work?

First, you select a topic you would like to use for your website. We’ll use “burn fat.” The software will then search several article databases and build each page of your website based on the titles of each article. For example, one page of our “burn fat” website will be an article called “Best Exercise to Burn Fat.”

The most powerful feature of HyperVRE is the ability to automatically include AdSense ads in every page as well as inserting your affiliate links to related Amazon.com and ClickBank products. All you have to do is enter your Amazon.com and ClickBank affiliate IDs into HyperVRE, and the software generates your affiliate links on the fly.

HyperVRE is very powerful in terms of time-saving features and ease of use, but it’s weak in many areas–most notably, website design. The software includes several different layouts for potential websites. None of them are visually appealing. And unless you know HTML, you’ll be stuck with a below-average, unprofessional-looking website.

Hosting is another issue. Yes, the HyperVRE software is free and you can create 100 different websites–all free. But your free websites will be stuck on your computer’s hard drive until you actually pay for hosting. This is where the cost can get you.

I recommend using HyperVRE only if you are willing to pay for website hosting. If you decide to use HyperVRE, I recommend 1and1.com for website hosting. 1and1.com allows you to host 20 different domain names for only $2.24/month.

Most people don’t realize how easy it is to make your own website for free–and even make money at it. I recommend Blogger.com first and foremost, and then you can build from there. It just isn’t that hard to make your own website–for free–and start earning easy money.

Make Your Own Website – General Website Design Tips by Ivan Juras
Oct 3rd, 2011 by

Wow, we`ve already taken a domain and chosen a web host. Great job ! Now it`s time for something special: making your own website. You could`ve completed this step before, but at the time you`d had finished it, the domain name could`ve been taken. We don`t want any complications right ?

You have 2 possible routes now (..as it is in the life right..) :

  1. To learn HTML and other “programming” languages of the world wide web …or..

  2. To buy a specialized software which makes creating websites a piece of cake.

The first one, learning HTML, the “programming” language of the WWW, and all of the “add-on” languages such as Javascript, PHP, ASP… is more rewarding in longterm, but it takes a lot more time to set your site up and going. It takes about 3-6 months just to master the standard HTML, but longterm, you could become a website programmer and gain reputation. Not to mention that you`ll have unlimited possibilities of designing your websites.

Personally, I`ve taken this path. It important to mention though: It won`t, under any circumstances, affect your website traffic or income. You see, how the website looks like really doesn`t matter much. We will cover that aspect later.

Here are some of the top HTML tutorials that will teach you how to make your own website from scratch. Zero knowledge required (.. you do know how to open notepad, or any other text editor, don`t you.. ).

w3schools.com
HTMLgoodies.com
Webdiner.com

The second one, buying a specialized website building software, will make building a website a lot more pleasant experience (.. who wants to learn coding and programming these days :) ). It`ll also make it a lot shorter one.

Generally, I think this is a better option. To attract website traffic and generate income, you don`t have to know programming. All you have to know is to draw tables and write text. Your website design will be a little bit limited with the exceptions of software like Macromedia Dreamweaver or Microsoft Frontpage (..although they do require some skills..) .

However, there is a software called Site Build It! that I honestly recommend, Not only it`s an outstanding website building tool, it also helps you in marketing it. You could call it an “ultimate package”. I`ve tried it, and it really works. It will save you a lot of time. The interface is nice-looking too.

There is also a website building software called xSitePro, wich is also a great option. It can build a fully functional search engine optimized website for you in less than 60 minutes. I haven`t tried it personally, but I noticed that people on various forums speak great words for this software. You might check it out.

Ok, now that you know where to learn how to make your own website, here are some useful tips on how to actually design it:

  • The looks of a website is much less important than the actual content. There is a phrase: “content is the king” which applies to SEO (Search engine optimization). You`ll learn about SEO in the upcoming articles. It`s very important to have a good unique content that is updated REGULARY. Fresh and unique content brings back the old and keeps the new visitors coming.

  • Look at this website, Construct-a-site.com. Admit it, it`s not too atractive. Well, I didn`t even want it to be. I put the content in the first plan. In the upcoming articles you`ll learn that search engines ( .. you know.. like Google..) can read only the content, and you`ll find out that you get around 70-80 % of free traffic from search engines.

  • Sidenote: I advise you not to start your first website until the next article which will be “What topic should your website be about”.. You`ll learn how to target a profitable topic.. i`ll also point how you should write about it..

  • Keep your website small. There is nothing more frustrating than loading a website. Make your website load longer than 5 seconds, and it`s a good chance that the majority of frustrated visitors will leave. Prevent that by not putting too many images on your website.

Navigation. Make your navigation clear and visible. It pains me even to see how the “big websites” deal with this issue. Their navigation is totally unclear, and they even sometimes mix it with advertisements. I`d just click “back” on my browser (.. which is Firefox .. :) ) ) and never visit that site again. Keep the navigation clear and visible.

  • Don`t put banner-ads on your site. Banners and images are history, text links are the modern type of advertising. Banners just take up your space and slow the “page loading” process.

  • Well, these are general tips on how to make your own website and improve its design. You`ll learn more advanced techniques to boost your traffic and generate more income in the following articles.

As always, if you liked the article, feel free to distribute it on your website or newsletter, just please keep the links as they are and give link-back to Cosntruct-a-site.com

You can visit my site at [http://www.construct-a-site.com] to learn how to make your own fully functional, money making website. You can also read interesting articles that contain website design and marketing tips and find out about hundreds of webmaster resources..Site is updated daily..Oh, I almost forgot: I`m only 16 y.o and still, I managed to succeed on internet…I metioned that just to inform you that this is not some scammy guru site, because I don`t sell anything that`s not worth of your money..

Design Your Own Website – My Easy Five Step Formula For Creating Successful Websites by Alexander Marlin
Oct 2nd, 2011 by

For me to demonstrate this, I will lead off with a little story, dating back a couple years.

Two years ago, when I first started online, my biggest nightmare was trying to figure out what program to use to build my websites, and which hosting company to house my web pages at.

I was always chasing the fast highway to riches. Finally, I could see why they call it the Internet Highway, I was on a highway and I didn’t realize that I could control my own speed. I stopped chasing the Internet Highway and started studying patterns online.

As time went by, I got better at not letting myself jump at the next “big” or “great product”, I learned to focus and I slowly started to keep the plastic hidden. It became difficult for me to use my credit card online, unless it was for my education towards my vision.

So, why the change?

First, I believe the change came when I bought one affiliate marketing manual that really hit the spot, no, not one, actually two, but one was the catalyst. It was very easy to understand and read, stipulating exactly how to build website that makes affiliate programs earn cash for you.

My vision of how you can make money online changed.

I finally started to realize that every website I build online has the potential of earning me $500 monthly.

That is where I created the term: “My e-appartment complex.”

My vision leads me to building successful e-apartments, one after the other until my e-complex has a total of 100 e-apartments.
But, because, of greed, you will have to be realistic and start by creating your “first” e-apartment. This article will help you get started, following the successful path not many wish to travel, while knowing that, if they do, success is guaranteed.

Armed with that knowledge, I will now share with you exactly what you need to do online to create successful websites, one after the other.

1) You Will Have To Master Keyword Research.

I just can’t emphasize the importance of keyword research.
If you don’t know what people are searching for then, how in the world is anyone ever going to find your website online.

You must, and I repeat, yes, must, learn to build your website around keywords or keywords phrases that is being searched for online. No successful website online was built without targeting the right keywords.

2) You Will Have To Use A Website Builder That Is Easy To Master.

In short, when your just starting out online, you have to learn how to build your own websites. You will need a website builder you can master n a week, you can’t spend months online learning HTML, so, it will have to be WYSIWYG (WYSIWYG, stands for What You See Is What You Get). In other words, acts like your word processor where you just paste the text needed.

3) Discover Where to Get the Cheapest Hosting.

Today, anyone online can open a reseller hosting account and start there own web hosting company for just $ 25 to $50 monthly.
But, the question is: Are they “techie” enough where trouble shooting is concerned?

You have to host you site with a company that has been around at least 5 years, because they are established and know the ins-an-outs of what it takes to be an online web host, and have a very friendly customer service.

4) You Must Use some Kind Of Ad Tracking Software.

Ad tracking is the one thing you must master online if you want to build successful websites online. You will have to make small changes to your site and just check to see if your site performs better or worse. If you feel your headline isn’t pulling, just change the headline and monitor what happens.

The nice part about online businesses is, that you can make change instantly and have results the same day. No need to wait months for results, like the offline world. Your changes can be tracked and that makes it easy to constantly improve your websites.

5) Find Something That Excite You And Put Away The Plastic.

Once, you find your niche online, ditch the credit card. Take your time and study what is needed for you to be successful online, sign up for a couple forums and get active asking questions.

Your online presence will start to make you a professional in your field. Study your manual, going over it more than once, read between the lines and set your vision on the end results you want to accomplish. Just set sail, and keep focus.

In any human activity, just get going and you will notice that what once seemed impossible, is now simple for you.

Knowing this, I do hope you find your niche online and start building your first e-apartment.

Create Your Own Website: Niche Websites for Fun and Profit by Maria Garza
Oct 1st, 2011 by

Have you ever had the desire to create your own website? That’s actually a great idea! Niche websites are a fantastic way to build a steady, reliable online income, and they’re also one of the easiest for a beginner to make profitable.

Also known as a content-rich site, a niche website is a site that focuses on information for just one specialty area. It can be about anything–antique cars, a sports team, cooking, pets–you get the idea!

I like to think of a niche website as being similar to the long-term investment portion of a financial portfolio. In fact, I believe the perfect time to start a niche website is about 5 to 10 years before retirement. This allows the website ample time to benefit from natural growth to become a significant source of income just when it’s needed most. Also, by that age, most people know a lot of stuff about something, and they’re more than eager to share it!

It’s also a lot of fun to build a niche website. In contrast to other forms of internet business that can become very tedious, boring and repetitive, a specialty website that focuses on a topic that excites you will never grow old. Rather than forcing yourself to write yet another sales article for internet marketing, you’ll have so many ideas for articles you want to write that there won’t be enough time for them all!

And, through your website, you’ll meet other people who share the same interest. Believe me, it’s a great feeling when someone thanks you for sharing information about a topic you love!

With a niche website, you spend the vast majority of your work on the content–which is the fun part! Just by creating more and more content, you will gain natural, steady, long-term traffic growth from search engines, rather than spending your time racing around the internet trying to build links and get traffic from anywhere you can. You still have to initiate some traffic-building strategies in the beginning, but concerning traffic, a niche website is about as close as you can get to “If you build it, they will come.”

A very important factor in the success of your website is choosing the initial theme, or niche–too wide, and you’ll have a lot of competition to outrun; too narrow, and there may not be enough visitors to produce significant income. Just like Goldilocks, you need to get it “just right!” as you create your own website.

Yes, you will still need to learn the basics of search engine optimization, traffic and link building and marketing strategies, but these will soon become second nature as you create your own website page by exciting page.

The best news is that even if you don’t have a clue how to build a website, you can easily create your own website using website building software.

If you’re totally new to the online business world, I strongly suggest starting with a niche website. It’s the best and easiest way to learn the basics of internet business, and you’ll be building an income-producing site that will last for many years. You probably won’t be rich in six months or a year, but the great thing is that the older your site becomes, the less work it requires, and the more traffic and income you’ll see!

What better retirement plan could you ask for?

How to Make Your Own Website for Kids by Jack G Delaney
Sep 30th, 2011 by

There are many good reasons to learn how to make your own website for kids. It is a great creative outlet for them and something you can do as a family. There is no point letting that creativity of theirs go to waste playing games on Facebook!

There are many different ways to make your own website for kids. The simplest of course being one of the many free options available. If you do a quick search for free website creation or free blogging platform you will find a bunch of great options. These are fine for learning how to make a simple site and playing around but if you are serious about this as more than a curiosity the best way to go is hosting your own website. I say this because with free sites you do not own the content and the page can also be removed any time at the discretion of the hosting site.

Hosting your own website is much easier than it sounds. There are really 3 things you need to make your own website for kids.

Firstly you need a name or domain name for your site. This can be anything and only costs a few dollars a year and you can own your own name for ever once purchased.

Next you need somewhere to host your website. Think of it as a place for your site to live. If you are tech savvy you can even do this from your own computer. But a much easier and more reliable way is to use a hosting service. A good hosting service will let you have unlimited space, websites, email addresses etc for a few dollars a month.

After that you just need to create the site itself. Have a think about what you or your kid are interested in. You can make a page about sports, music, movies, whatever interest you. You can make a personal page to share photos and thoughts or you can even start a blog and share your ideas and knowledge with people from around the world and foster conversations and feedback.

With freely available tools that come with your hosting plan you can have a website up in under an hour and start adding anything you like. That’s right, it’s just that easy to get started with making your own website. There are a number of website builders for any kind of site you could want to make.

If your website becomes popular you can even get advertisers to pay you to have ads on your site. Imagine that. Your kid can have fun being creative, sharing their ideas and make some pocket money at that same time. I know my kids have a lot of fun designing their websites and there’s a good chance yours will too.

Jack Delaney has spent the last year teaching himself and his kids about building website. There has been fun, tears and learning for everyone and now we want to share some of the things we have learned along the way.

The Quick And Easy Tools To Build Your Own Website by Dave T McCarthy
Sep 29th, 2011 by

Build your own website

This article is geared toward the senior citizen internet marketer, the novice or first time website builder. The message is simple: “Don’t despair, there are many software packages you can use to build your website that are simple to use and require no programming skills. Trust me I am a senior and have had to leap this hurdle in order to start my internet marketing after retirement career.

I’ll never forget the feeling of despair after spending months attempting to understand the most popular WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) software package called Dreamweaver. I even signed up for a course on Dreamweaver at Sydney University only to find that they worked at far too fast a pace for me to keep up with. You don’t go stupid as you grow old but the pace at which you learn is definitely slower.

It soon became obvious that I needed something that was user friendly to non geeks if I was to ever master the skill to build my own website. The other factor is that I spent close to $500 of hard saved money to buy Dreamweaver so I certainly couldn’t afford another outlay of that amount so I did the sensible thing and joined a forum to seek help from people that already had this skill. Before long I was passed on to Otec Tools with the suggestion that I look closely at their really easy software packages. I was shocked when I found the perfect website builder and pleased when I saw the price; I didn’t even have to dip into savings to buy it.

Therefore the first technical skill you must develop if you wish to build a site is the skill to build your own website and the first decision you must make is what software package will enable to achieve this task? Do not be fooled into believing that because something is expensive it must be good. You will see from the second paragraph of this article that I fell into that trap and my fingers were burned in the experience.

If you have limited skills at this aspect of the profession you have two choices; the first is to outsource and pay each time you need a website, the second is to find some easy to use software that you are able to master the use of. I chose the latter because I prefer to pay out just once and learn the skills required to build your own website rather than pay out every time I need a website. The latter can become quite expensive.

The author of this article has used this really easy website builder for more than year, you can view it at http://www.otectools.com/reallyeasywebsitebuilder/ and if you wish to see more of his common sense internet marketing for seniors why not take a look at his blog at http://davidtmccarthy.com
